FIND RESOURCES: SUPPORT AT EVERY STEP

- The ILRC trains attorneys, paralegals, and community-based advocates who work with immigrants around the country. They inform the media, elected officials, and the public to shape effective and just immigration policy and law.

- They help build power with low-wage and immigrant workers across Western Massachusetts. Together they have strengthened communities, organized workplaces, and take political action to win economic and social change for working people.

- A guide for undocumented high school and college students in the United States. They aim to provide a collection of resources for both undocumented and DACA students.

- The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is a national nonprofit resource center that provides immigration legal training, technical assistance, educational materials, and engages in advocacy and immigrant civic engagement to advance immigrant rights.

- TheDream.Us is working to help 6,000 highly motivated DREAMers graduate from college with career-ready degrees. DREAMers are immigrant youth who came to this country at a very young age without documentation.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

Regardless of immigration status, undocumented and DACA students in the United States have legal rights. However, they are more likely to face unequal treatment and discrimination when seeking jobs and internships. It is important to know that you have legal employment rights.

91猫先生 is committed to provide equal opportunities in regards to on-campus employment. Under the federal law, any employee of 91猫先生鈥攕tudent or staff鈥攎ust have a Social Security Card and be able to provide this to the college before beginning any work for 91猫先生.

Therefore, undocumented students are unfortunately not allowed to work for 91猫先生 or be paid stipends.
Students who are recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, are provided with an Employment Authorization card (work permit) that allows them to work on-campus.
