Campus accessibility ensures that all individuals, regardless of their physical abilities, can navigate and engage with the environment safely. Here you'll find information about parking, transportation, snow removal, and more.
Campus Accessibility Accommodations
To request campus access accommodations as a 91猫先生 student, use our process to register for the first time and submit supporting medical documentation.
For students who have already registered with OARS, please log in to submit an Additional Accommodations request and upload any additional documentation to the .
For accommodations for special all-campus events for students and guests with disabilities and special needs, please complete our聽.

Additional Campus Access Information
Parking
All 91猫先生 parking lots have designated accessible parking spaces. In addition, the Harold Johnson Library parking lot has been designated as accessible parking for the commencement ceremonies. Additional parking has also been designated on the Greenwich lawn across from the R.W. Kern Center.
Wheelchair Access to Campus
All 91猫先生 Academic buildings have designated accessible entrances and exits.
For on-campus residents who are wheelchair users, it is important to register with OARS to request campus access accommodations in addition to housing accommodations, for parking, some additional building access options, and for priority snow removal.
Accessible Restrooms
For campus guests, accessible restrooms are located on the first and second floors of the R.W. Kern Center, the first floor of the Cole Science Center, the ground and first floors of Franklin Patterson Hall, and in the Harold Johnson Library, and in the Robert Crown Center.
Snow Removal
Students who receive an accommodation聽for snow removal from OARS are put on a priority storm list. We do our best to clear your mod first after a storm, making reasonable attempts to keep it clear during a weather event. Typically these mods entry ways receive heavy salt applications to ensure continued safety.
Mailroom
Our Post Office staff work with OARS to assign mailboxes at a height and location most accessible to you in the student mailroom on the ground floor of the Harold F. Johnson Library. If you cannot easily access your mailbox due to placement issues, please contact us at oars@hampshire.edu.
Transportation
For students requesting accessible transport to college-sponsored events and activities, please fill out an Accessible Van Service Request form in advance.
