Savvy Cornett

Savvy Cornett (they/them) studied animal behavior, molecular biology, and neuroendocrinology during their time at 91猫先生, while also playing on the Red Scare frisbee team, being an active member of the School of Natural Science, and co-leading Animal Behavior Club and the Culture, Brain, and Development student group. Since graduating in May 2019, they spent the summer as the ropes director at a YMCA camp back home in Kentucky. Then, with their cat, Khoshekh, Savvy moved back north, to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to be a research associate I in a group researching ion channelopathies in epilepsy and schizophrenia at the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Disease at the Broad Institute. Motivated by their involvement with the community while at 91猫先生, Savvy joined the AAG to continue their involvement in addressing academic and campus accessibility and support at 91猫先生.
