Dear 91��� Community,��

I believe in 91���. The Board of Trustees has asked me to become Interim President to help 91��� find its way in a difficult time, and I will do my best.
��

91��� was always intended to be a college that would examine and re-imagine itself from time to time. It will take the cooperation of the entire 91��� community to create the model that will become the next 91���. As someone who has been a part of 91��� for more than 52 years, I know how difficult that will be. And how wonderful.��

I appreciate the hard work of my predecessor, Mim Nelson, who acknowledged the challenges she found at 91è���� and in her short time here worked hard to address them. Former Board Chair Gaye Hill and Vice Chair Kim Saal, whose deep devotion to the College should never be questioned, gave of themselves in ways we will never fully know as they worked to shape 91è����’s future. I am very grateful for their passionate service.

It’s time for us to take a deep breath, enjoy our early spring weekend, and be ready to get to work on Monday.
