Luka Wolfe F23
Luka Wolfe F23 is a rising Div III student from Lexington, Kentucky. A student of the Five College Ethnomusicology Certificate Program, their work explores disability as a unique musical culture with a particular focus on adaptive musical instrument design and practice.聽
Luka is a multi-instrumentalist and plays over 20 musical instruments from a range of cultures. Currently, they perform with the Amherst College Jazz Ensemble and the Smith College Wind Ensemble.聽
Luka is an active student leader on campus. In addition to their work as Student Trustee, they serve on the 91猫先生 Student Advocacy Board as the disabled student representative. They have also worked four semesters as an orientation leader and currently work with the Student Engagement Office as a program assistant and in the Wellness Center as a Peer Educator.聽
You can often find Luka leading an event on campus, performing across the Five Colleges or taking a walk with their cheerful service dog, Melody.
