Erica Huggins joined the Board of Trustees in 2023.
Huggins is President of Seth MacFarlane鈥檚 Fuzzy Door and oversees all development and creative direction for the production company鈥檚 content creation, including its multi-year television deal with Universal Studio Group, film, literature, music, and digital.听

Under Fuzzy Door鈥檚 Universal TV deal, she is executive producing Peacock鈥檚 Ted TV series starring the iconic foul-mouthed teddy bear as seen in the previous successful films, and recently released Peacock鈥檚 disaster series The End is Nye hosted by听renowned science educator Bill Nye. Up next, she is producing the Carl Sagan feature documentary for Nat Geo directed by Emmy winner Nanette Burstein, as well as The Naked Gun remake at Paramount, with Liam Neeson starring and Akiva Schaffer directing.听听

She is involved with numerous projects in TV at various stages of development including Letter 44 at Paramount Plus and The Fix at Apple. She is currently in post-production on a Netflix series called Good Times, the animated re-imagining of the iconic and celebrated Norman Lear sitcom from the 70鈥檚.

Under her and MacFarlane鈥檚 helm, Fuzzy Door produces the Emmy-nominated Hulu space adventure series The Orville, the beloved and Emmy-winning animated comedy series Family Guy, the fan-favorite series American Dad!, and the Emmy-winning Cosmos: Possible Worlds, now available on Disney+.

Huggins most recently held the title of president at Imagine Entertainment focusing on expanding Imagine鈥檚 independent model, incubating material in-house for all feature development and the company鈥檚 feature animation division. She was a key player in the formulation of Impact with Brian Grazer, and oversaw the company鈥檚 metamorphosis from studio-reliant to independent studio. During her tenure there, she produced In The Heart of The Sea, Flightplan, The Spy Who Dumped Me, Get On Up, and The Dark Tower, as well as curated Imagine鈥檚 feature slate for eight years.

Tapping into her industry presence and relationships, Huggins helped create 91猫先生鈥檚 Creative Media Institute with Ken Burns. Huggins has served on the board of Big Sunday, and was selected as one of the few coveted slots for Tribeca Film Festival鈥檚 2021 jury. With a passion for mentorship, she has served as an AMPAS Nicholl Fellowship mentor and frequently participates in mentorship programs for the PGA, AMPAS, and collegiate graduate classrooms for UCLA, USC, and Chapman University. Prior to Imagine Entertainment, Huggins worked as an EVP at Interscope Entertainment and Radar Pictures and began her career in entertainment as a film editor for John Waters and Michael Cimino.
