Serena Aurora Day Himmelfarb (They/Them) is  Artist in Residence at 91èÏÈÉú. They hold an M.F.A from the California Institute of the Arts, Post-Bacc Certificate from the School of the Art Institute, Chicago, and a B.A from 91èÏÈÉú.

Their studio practice blends traditional methods of direct observation and more idiosyncratic processes based in post-studio methodologies. They are rooted in queer, feminist, and reproductive justice frameworks, whether geo-political, interpersonal, or internal.

Selected galleries they have shown at include Human Resources, JOAN gallery, and Track 16 in Los Angeles. Their work has been included in Printed Matter’s LA Book Fair and the Other Places Art Fair.
